Is there a place where all Aqara firmware update (with détails) are listed ?
I have few devices with dual mode (zigbee/thread). I usually choose zigbee for more functionnalities but I want to know when there are thread firmware update because Thread protocol is my target.
For certified Matter over Thread devices you can check the Matter DCL which is what platforms like Home Assistant look to check for updates to devices.
Might not be so easy to use though and may not provide any details since it’s up to manufacturers to include a link to a website with release notes and Aqara does not provide them, but it’s the reference site: Distributed Compliance Ledger
If you write P2 in the search box you’ll see for instance the door and window sensor. If you click on the arrow of that row it will expand and you’ll see a table with the certified software versions: 1000 which is the first version and 1011, which was an update that had to be invalidated due to bugs (in the info icon you can see “software version valid: false”).
If I take “Aqara Light Switch H2”, there is a lot of line for this one, some where last firmware version is 1.0.1 (like my EU version), and others that have a 1.0.2 firmware. I suppose it’s differet region/country version.
Is there a way to know wich product we use, maybe with the AK175/AK180 code i’ve seen in DLC (but can’t find it in aqara app) ?
They’re regional variations and different configurations indeed, the Product ID column is what counts. Some smart home platforms will display the product ID, either in decimal or hexadecimal, in the column you see both formats.
If Aqara doesn’t publish the zigbee firmware URLs there is a way to get them but it involves someone with an Aqara hub running the Aqara app in an Android emulator, initiating a firmware device update and capturing the URL.
