Firmware Update Issue with Shelly Mini PM Gen3

Hi everyone, I’m facing a firmware update issue with my Shelly Mini PM Gen3 and I’m hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this. I recently installed the device and everything seemed to work fine initially. However, when I tried to update the firmware from version 1.1.99 to 1.3.3, the update process didn’t complete successfully. Here’s what happened:

I clicked on the update button in the Shelly app, and instead of seeing the progress bar, nothing happened. After some time, I noticed an error message in the logs indicating that the device couldn’t reach the update server. The logs showed an HTTP 404 error when trying to fetch the update file. This is frustrating because I have other Shelly devices on the same network that updated without any issues.

I’ve tried resetting the device and ensuring it has a stable internet connection, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if there’s something specific I need to configure on the device or if there’s a known issue with this particular firmware version.

Here are a few troubleshooting tips I’ve come across that might help others facing similar issues:

  • Check Network Connectivity: Ensure the device has a stable and reliable internet connection. Sometimes, network issues can prevent firmware updates.
  • Clear Cache: Resetting the device or clearing its cache might resolve connectivity issues with the update server.
  • Check for Known Issues: Look up the firmware version online to see if others are experiencing similar problems. Manufacturer forums or support pages are great resources.
  • Contact Support: If all else fails, reaching out to the manufacturer’s support team can provide additional insights.

I’m really hoping to get this device updated soon so I can take full advantage of the new features and improvements. If anyone has any suggestions or has encountered a similar issue, I’d love to hear from you! Let’s work together to resolve this.

Thanks in advance for your help!
