Fixing Bricked Cameras: A Successful Solution

I’m thrilled to share a solution that I stumbled upon after struggling with my bricked cameras. If you’ve ever encountered the issue where your cameras boot up with a solid yellow light and then go off repeatedly, you know how frustrating it can be. After some research and experimentation, I found a reliable fix that brought my cameras back to life!

The key was to intervene during the boot process. Once the solid yellow light turns off, immediately press the setup button. This puts the camera into setup mode, bypassing the problematic boot sequence. After it displays “ready to connect,” hold the setup button for about 10-15 seconds to trigger a factory reset. You’ll notice a difference in the boot process, with moments of blue light blinking. Once it’s done, the camera will blink yellow, indicating it’s ready for setup. Following the regular setup process should restore it to full functionality.

This fix not only saved me from the hassle of replacing my cameras but also gave me a newfound appreciation for troubleshooting. If anyone else is dealing with this issue, I hope this solution helps as much as it did for me!
