Fixing Historical Data in Energy Dashboard

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with fixing historical data in the energy dashboard. When I first set up power usage monitoring using the Riemann sum integration, I didn’t realize the importance of setting the correct method for appliances like washing dryers. This led to incorrect recordings, but I’ve since adjusted the sensors to use the right method, and everything is working well now.

I’ve been using the feature to edit historical data after the last update, which has been helpful. However, I noticed that the total power used hasn’t been updated, and the incorrect readings are still present in the history. For example, there’s a large jump on April 13th, but the energy dashboard for that day shows no unusual activity.

I’m wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue and can point me to the right place to correct these numbers. Should I delete all historic data and start fresh with properly set up sensors?

My setup includes a Home Assistant container running in Docker on a generic NUC, with all plugs being generic Tuya smart plugs with energy monitoring. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
