Has anyone succeeded placing their fp2 sensor behind curtains? I tought it would be a solid idea to hide the sensors this way while being able to get power from the curtain power plug. But the sensor definitely now has a harder time detecting me while sitting still.
Anu tips?

Curtains shouldn’t be an issue at all since the mmWave radar goes right through fabric. I don’t have any hanging here, but I accidentally left a thick fabric cat mat right in front of the FP2 once, and had zero issues. The only catch is movement, in that if a breeze gets your curtains swaying, the sensor will probably pick up some “ghosts”. That might mess with the algorithm, making it think it’s an error and assuming the room is empty. It might be worth testing if disabling “AI High-Precision Human Body Recognition” fixes it.
