As part of a research project we need to track 2 or 3 subjects in the same room. We want to use FP2 and in the future the new FP400 coupled with signals from smartwatches for this. Does anybody know if and how the approximate position of each subject can be revealed in Home Assistant (probably through HomeKit integration) instead of the standard Aqara visualization? Will it provide the estimated number of subjects in each zone? Will the FP400 change this?

I’ve tried to do it, but sadly it doesn’t seem possible
The best you can do is just creating a lot of zones, but the 30 zone limit makes it inaccurate in bigger rooms

Yes, HomeKit integration is the only way I know of for connecting the FP2 to HA
No, it doesn’t provide the amount of people in the room or zone
About FP400 I don’t think anybody knows this right now
