This is a new video that tells you how to install the FP2, see if you can install the FP2 well?

FP2 Installation & Setup Guidelines

1.Installation Location

Choose a location free from interference sources such as glass, mirrors, metal objects, water surfaces, air conditioners, fans, or moving curtains.

If interference cannot be avoided, ensure the interfering object is positioned in the FP2’s monitoring blind spot.

  1. Device Installation

Mount the device at an appropriate height, keeping the logo level.

Detection range: 120° horizontal, ±20° vertical pitch, maximum detection distance of 8 m.

Avoid mounting too high or too low to prevent reduced detection range, false triggers, or missed detections.

  1. Set the Maximum Detection Range

Define the range by walking to the three farthest points in the monitoring area; other areas will automatically be set to the edge.

  1. Set the Exit and entrance

Properly configuring the exit port helps quickly establish and remove targets, ensuring timely and accurate detection.

  1. Set a interference Zone

Mark areas with constant motion (e.g., air conditioning, fans, or moving curtains) as interference zones to reduce false triggers

  1. Adjust Presence Monitoring Sensitivity

Higher sensitivity makes the device more responsive to subtle movements, which can maintain the “Presence Detected” state more easily.

  1. Enable AI High-Precision Human Detection (optional)

Filters out non-human movement such as cleaning robots or pets.

  1. Correcting False Positives

If a false trigger occurs due to an interference source, delete the current target and add the interference item to the disturbance zone.
