FP2 Sensor issues and power supply

I have an FP2 sensor that was not working properly since installation. It had false positive occupancy readings, other times it could not detect someone in the room etc. After some testing and with experience from other sensors I figured out that the problem could be improper power supply. I was using a very cheap power supply unit with small watt output. Once I replaced it with a quality power supply unit the problems disappeared.

As an advice, make sure that sensors that need external power get a proper quality power supply unit.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
This is actually true, if you use a low-quality power supply, this can cause problems.
A high-quality power supply and a not too long cable
up to 5 meters and the sensor will work perfectly.
