FP2 suddenly restarting every few seconds

The last couple days my FP2 seems to be stuck in a restart loop.
On the app it says the network connection has timed out.
But the device keeps flashing blue, stops for a few seconds, flicks to yellow, then back to flashing blue.

Tried rebooting the device - have not reset the device or removed though as I’d seen before people were unable to readd them after and I have quite a complex automation set up tied to this in Apple home.

Any suggestions?

The FP2 connects via WiFi, so it may be stuck in something that looks like the restart loop if it cannot connect to the network (or disconnects for whatever reason).

Did you change anything in your WiFi setup? Do you experience network problems on your phone or computer?

Did you already tried to resetting it ? I would recommend and try that

Exactly! Try resetting the network first by pressing and holding the reset button. If that doesn’t help, try a factory reset – things can’t get any worse than they already are!

As said by the other experts I’d suggest resetting the FP2 as well. If your WiFi is set up with multiple access points you could check if the FP2 is switching access point when this happens and force it to a dedicated access point. I had something similar before with my Unifi setup

Thanks for the responses everyone!
The solution was embarrassingly simple.
I powered it off for half an hour, and then it wouldn’t power back on…
Turns out the fault was the USB power adapter.

New adapter and it’s back to working great!
