FP2s going offline

I’ve been having issues where my FP2s randomly go offline in the app and HomeKit but I know that they’re still connected to my network from looking at the eero app. Has anybody else seen this or have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot. I reset them all and made sure that they’re connect to the 2.4ghz band and still having problems.

@ore11 It sounds like you’re facing some connectivity challenges with your FP2 sensors going offline in the app and HomeKit, even though they appear connected on your eero app. Let’s explore a few troubleshooting steps that might help resolve this issue:

  1. Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Ensure that your FP2 sensors are within range of your Wi-Fi router. If there are metal obstacles or thick walls, they might interfere with the signal. Moving the sensors closer to the router can sometimes help.

  2. Router Settings: Verify if your router has any settings that might be causing interruptions, such as Wi-Fi Agile Multiband or Target Wake Time modes, particularly if you have an ASUS AX series router. Disabling these settings and restarting your router might improve connectivity.

  3. Firmware Update: Make sure the firmware for your FP2 sensors and your router is up-to-date. This can often resolve compatibility and stability issues.

  4. Network Stability: Check if other devices on the same network are experiencing similar issues. If so, there might be a broader network stability problem that needs addressing.

  5. Router Restart: Sometimes, simply restarting your router can resolve temporary connectivity issues. Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be helpful to engage with the community for more insights or create a support ticket for further assistance. Keep the conversation going, and hopefully, you’ll find a solution that works for you!

In my opinion, these are problems with the eero router, check ipV6 and mDNS, perhaps disabling or enabling these modes will help you.
