How long have people seen their FP300 last so far? I’m using mine in Zigbee mode with high accuracy (but lowered some other settings to reduce usage & reporting, e.g. for temps and humidity) but mine has just ran out of battery earlier this month, despite it only being used since the start of this year.
The claims Aqara make are that it lasts up to 3 years in Zigbee mode. Is this with normal/moderate usage, or like basically never being triggered? A bit confused to be honest, what am I doing wrong that it means my battery runs out within 8 months?
Battery life can vary depending on settings and usage, but 8 months does seem a bit shorter than expected. Our support team will reach out to help diagnose the issue.
Sometimes the includes batteries have defects or just discharge on its own. A FP300 I have in the bathroom (Zigbee mode) has still very high battery level after 9 months, I’m also using high accuracy. So I believe your FP300 should last at least a year on a new battery, assuming you didn’t put some cheap no-name brand battery.
Funnily enough I also have one in the bathroom and that seems to be doing fine (although the battery isn’t reporting clearly in HA so I can’t be certain of that)
