I think at this point it’s pretty common knowledge that the device has configuration settings locked away when used in thread mode. My question is: Is there any other way to configure those settings while still keeping it thread mode? I know that with the initial setup, it connects to the Aqara app via bluetooth. Can it be configured there? Or can it be switched to Zigbee, configured, and switched back while keeping those settings?
These are two different data transfer protocols. When you switch protocols, the second one is disabled. Therefore, this isn’t possible.
Currently, it works like this: configure it on the combine harvester and use it on the car.
Perhaps in the future, there will be settings for copying from one protocol to another.
You lose access to a lot of the proprietary settings while in pure Thread mode.
