I have an Aqara G410 Doorbell Hub and an FP300 presence sensor. I’ve added the sensor successfully using Zigbee protocol with the Aqara app. I can’t find an option to expose the FP300 through to Apple Home. Is that possible yet?
Hi @mcphersonkent - is your G410 paired as a hub to Apple Home via Matter? If you have the FP300 paired to the G410 via Zigbee, the G410 should expose it to Apple Home via the hub functionality.
To pair the G410 as a hub, go to the G410 settings, click Third Party Matter Ecosystems and select either Apple Home ‘Connect’ or Matter Pairing Code to copy it and pair manually into Apple Home.
This might be confusion in how Apple Home displays the Fp300. Since it’s all environmental sensors, you won’t see a tile for it. It will only appear in the status area at the top with the different sensors (Temp, Humidity, Light, Occupation) separated. Do you see anything like this in the room with the Aqara hub assigned?
Yes I do see those so I guess I’m good. Thanks for your help.
