FP300 Matter binding

Hello,

Has anyone tried binding a Matter light with this FP300 sensor to see if it works properly?

Regards

Do you mean direct binding? like zigbee direct binding?

According to the Matter compliance document there are no Binding clusters or OnOff clusters so, no, it does not support Matter bindings.

Yes @ludovic_boue , I have my matter lights in an Automation with FP300 (zigbee)
Works great

OP is asking about Matter bindings, which is a mechanism in Matter (inherited from Zigbee) so a device can control another directly without automations or even hubs.

Some Matter motion sensors and some wall switches support Matter bindings, but that’s not the case with the FP300 according to the official documents.

The point of bindings is not depending so much on automations, otherwise if the hub dies the smart home goes with it.

Got ya :+1:t3:

Seems the answer is no. Marking as solved.
