Does anyone know why the FP300 doesn’t work sometimes? I have one in a kitchen and sometimes it doesn’t detect presence and sometimes it doesn’t detect ‘no presence’ (I have an automation to switch on and off the kitchen lights and sometimes they don’t go on and sometimes they don’t go off because of that.
Most of the time it works correctly but not always.

What worked for me was taking the batteries out of the FP300 for a few minutes. A proper reset, not just a recalibration.
I had the same mixed behaviour at the start, sometimes no presence detected, sometimes presence sticking with the room empty. Recalibrating alone never held for long. After a full power cycle it settled, and mine have been reliable since.
If you do it, take the batteries out first, put them back, and only then run AI Spatial Learning on the empty kitchen. Calibrating before the reset seems to build the new baseline on top of whatever state was causing the trouble.
