FP300 Sensitivity in Thread mode

I saw images of other people’s device page in Home Assistsnt for the FP300 (thread mode) and there was a dropdown for sensitivity. However, I do not see it on mine, I checked and I was on the same firmware too. Any idea how I can get this without changing it to zigbee?

Yesterday, I watched a video on YouTube by Simon42 in which you could see that there was a dropdown menu for “hold time” (not sensitivity) on the FP300 in Thread mode. Do you mean “hold time” or an extra dropdown for “sensitivity”?

He also said that in thread mode, you can’t adjust the detection distance and other settings. But maybe he didn’t have the latest firmware and it works with the latest firmware.

His tip for resolving connection issues was to switch the FP300 to Zigbee mode, and then immediately switch it back to Thread mode, as this loads the latest Thread firmware. Maybe that will help you with your problem, too.

Here is the video. It is in German, but you can select English (AI) instead:

No, I do mean specifically a sensitivity option in thread mode. Scroll down this review and you’ll see it.

Strange. It doesn’t seem to be related to the firmware version.

Is the entity possibly hidden in Home Assistant, or is it due to the version of Home Assistant?

Edit:
After reading the page from your link for the second time, I saw it:

The hold time is exposed via the standard “HoldTime” attribute, and the sensitivity level is exposed using the “BooleanStateConfiguration” cluster. In the Aqara app, this is called “Sensitivity,” while Home Assistant will soon release support for this cluster, hopefully in its 2025.12 version.

I guess he probably used a HA beta version for the images.
