Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue where by the sensors in the app is showing presence or absence when the opposite is true.
My automation are working correctly, so when no presence is noted it’s correctly turning off the light, but the sensor status in the app still shows as if there is someone in the room even up to 10 mins later.
When I re-enter the lights turn on using the PIR sensor and stay on with the presence sensor. When I leave they go off.
i have it added in HA, not sure what you use, but there is a delay timer, make sure that is not set high ( was for mine ), it can also report presence depending on how the room works ( if i take a shower and i have heat and water all over my shower glass it will report as presence detected for some time ) . Also try the AI learning thing.
I’m just currently using it in the aqara app. I restarted the device and my hub and that seems to of fix the issue with the app reporting the wrong status.
I want to say maybe the app was not updating or getting a good connection with the device as it was staying there was presence in the room but when I walk out my lights turned off which should only turn off when no presence is detected. The app then continued to say there was presence in the room.
So not sure, but it seems to of fixed its self with a restart for now.
