FP300 - Switch protocole to Zigbee stuck at 0%

Hello,

I purchased two FP300 sensors and would like to change their protocol to use them with Zigbee, via Zigbee2MQTT and Home Assistant.

So I installed Aqara Home, added the device, selected Zigbee mode, and confirmed to update the protocol.
My problem is that the protocol change remains stuck at 0%.
I tried again with the second FP300, but the same thing happened.

I tried several things to fix the problem:

  • Disabling/re-enabling Bluetooth on my phone
  • Disabling/re-enabling Wi-Fi on my phone
  • Restarting my phone
  • Resetting the module (pressing and holding the button on the device for 5 seconds)
  • Changing the region in the Aqara Home app (France, United States, Others)
    Nothing works.

Am I the only one?
Do you have any advice to help me?

Thank you for your help!

Hello,

After many different tests, I finally succeeded to change the protocol to Zigbee!
How?

By using an iPhone instead of my Xiaomi Redmi 11 Android phone… Even though the app on my phone was up to date and I have no specific connection settings (vpn or something else)

I assume the problem is with the Android app because I tested with both phones in the same environment (Wi-Fi, hub, etc.).

Hope this can help some of you!
