Have just received the FP300 and finally got it setup through home assistant. Would love to add it to the Aqara app so that the firmware can be updated, but can’t do this without an Aqara hub. Seems a bit daft ?

May I ask, “Seems a bit daft”? After all, the manufacturer is primarily responsible for the quality and support of the app.

That’s the bizarre thing. You can’t tell unless you have it connected to the Aqara app.

Even if it is connected to another hub, such as a Google/Nest Home (display) via the Google Home app? Why can’t it just be a linked device at that point?
