Managed to get basic functionality of the FP300 working in Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT. Seems to be working fine but still several things to add and correct.
Nice, I managed to get mine running in Home Assistant without any issues also. I decided to use Zigbee and the M3 and let HomeKit pass everything over to Home Assistant.
Hi @absent ,
Have you added some configurations?
I’m missing the occupancy with the HA integration through Zigbee2MQTT
Thanks
It’s an external converter to pass through the unrecognised features. Only the temp/humidity/lux are recognised without some extra code.
Are you on slack I have it working too, but with some errors as its a bit janky
and currently running some tests on matter right now
DM’d you.
@absent,
I’m not an expert, so could you please provide your external converter?
Thanks
I’ll DM you.
Same problem. Direct zigbee connection missing the extra sensors like occupancy. Only over external Matter Hub its working.
With the okay from the Aqara team the Zigbee2MQTT external converter for the FP300 is now public on Github so others can try it out and contribute to its development.
It’s a work in progress so not all features are supported or work yet.
