Recently, I completed a comprehensive Frigate SVR binding for OpenHAB, and I wanted to share my experience and insights with the community. The binding has been running smoothly in my production environment, supporting features like autodiscovery of cameras, multiple server instances, and event handling. It’s been a reliable addition to my setup, and I believe it could be beneficial for others exploring similar integrations.
One challenge I encountered was ensuring seamless event handling across multiple Frigate servers. I experimented with different configurations to optimize performance and reliability.
