Also — grouping automations! I didn’t realize that some hiccups were because I had conflicting automations set across different platforms. Now I let HomeKit handle the logic, and Matter just does the talking across everything. Much smoother.
And don’t underestimate good range. My Thread network had dead spots—swapped where I put the repeaters and boom, stable.
