I still miss the possibility to make changes to settings in the U200 without activating the keypad.
is something planned in the near future?
Hello @adam16
It would be nice if there was no need to activate the keyboard. I hope the team will come up with something to improve this, but there is no information on this matter yet.
Hello, according to preliminary information, Aqara plans to provide access to the lock settings without activating the keyboard. The exact time is not yet known.
Hopefully sooner rather than lately as many of us seem to want that oppertunity. ![]()
I also wait for this option from start testing the U200 - I already asked for it to the engineers too! Can´t wait to get this functional upgrade
Can someone from the developer team answer to my question? @KinseyCreateGoods
Our engineers will need to replace one IC to make this feature possible. When we developed the U200 about two years ago, there wasn’t a suitable IC available yet, so we couldn’t include it at that time. ![]()
Oh, so this won’t come with the current U200?
We need to wait for next generation?
Yup it is
Thats disappointing. I bought my U200 4 months ago and hoped to get a firmware update to solve this issue.
I hope you can offer some clients to get the new J200 for a much reduced price at least.
Do you have more information about the J200? I’m curious about when it will be released and what will be improved in comparison to the U200.
Great idea~ I’ll share it with our marketing team. I also think we could consider offering U200 users a trade in program, where users can exchange their old device for a discount on the new model.
