G350 Bug: Preset inverted when mounted upside down

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a specific bug I found with the new Camera Hub G350 when it is mounted upside down (with the image flipped in the settings).

The issue exclusively happens when the camera is in its exact center position (left/right). Here is how to reproduce it:

  1. Mount the camera upside down.

  2. Pan the camera to the exact center position, tilt it all the way down to the lowest angle (pointing toward the floor), and save this as a preset.

  3. Move the camera to any other random position.

  4. Select the saved preset.

The Problem: The camera returns to the correct left/right center position, but the vertical tilt is completely inverted. Instead of pointing down toward the floor as saved, it points all the way up toward the ceiling.

If the camera is not perfectly centered left/right, the presets work fine. It seems the firmware forgets to flip the vertical axis coordinates specifically for the center position when inverted.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Hopefully, an Aqara mod can pass this on to the dev team for a future firmware fix.

pls confirm if the firmware version and the App version are the latest, we have fixed it long time ago.

I know that you have fixed the inverted control directions, when mounted upside down. But the problem described above does still exist.

App version: 6.3.3
Current firmware version:4.5.21_0004.0017
Current algorithm version:1.3.11

Can you do a Pan-Tilt Calibration before, to be sure, that the camera is in left/right center position? The problem appears only in that exact center position for me.

I noticed that my app version is 6.3.5. In addition, please record a video of the app’s operation for me so that I can imitate your usage to confirm the issue.
