I just got and installed a G4 doorbell, and while the chime seems to connect to my network and Apple HomeKit fine, the chime doesn’t get any signal from the doorbell. The doorbell is both hardwired and has batteries in it, and no matter how close I get the chime there is no signal - I’ve even taken the chime outside and plugged it into an exterior outlet so it was inches from the doorbell. Signal says medium no matter the distance.
The doorbell does not ring the chime, nor does it light up for any reason. Is this an installation issue or is something wrong with the doorbell? Even if the doorbell is hardwired wrong I would assume the batteries would power the doorbell.
The camera appears to be set up in both the Aqara app and Apple Home but the video does not show and the Aqara app only says “network error please try again”

Check that you’ve inserted the batteries correctly, make sure the distance to the router doesn’t exceed 10 meters, and the distance between the modules isn’t more than 5-6 meters. If the placement is correct, try resetting the doorbell to factory settings and reconnecting it to Aqara Home.

Thanks, unfortunately I have tried all of that and no change. I’ve even completely changed all the batteries and held down the reset button on the back of the door bell unit for over 10 seconds and the unit does not turn on or respond.
