G4 Doorbell Video Access

Hi!

I’ve had the G4 doorbell for quite a while now and absolutely love it, crystal clear picture and it just works super well.

I’ve recently just gone back into the app and found that i can no longer scroll back and forth in time to see history etc - it seems that at some point it’s switched itself to event based recording only but i’ve put it back to continuous now. I had a large SD card in the main unit and it has been working beautifully up to recently.

Note sure if related to a recent software update?

Do I need to hard reboot after the change or anything?

Appreciate any guidance.

Did the power fall back to battery (even temporarily)? With battery, only event-based in supported.
Is the SD card set to loop when full?

I don’t see anything in the last firmware that might cause this.

Its possible - not sure how to find out. But the app says its currently on external power supply, and recording is set to continuous with loop enabled too.

Just tried rebooting the door bell (what a world we live in!) and no difference there.

Live camera working great.

Under “playback” looks like i’m still getting event videos recorded which i don’t object to but wonder if that’s a symptom of the problem.
