Works reliably through the evening and night, but as soon as the sun shines on it all I get is constant network errors and the device no longer streams video.
Anyone else experienced this? I’ve had other brands of cameras and doorbells in the same location for years that haven’t had this issue. Any solutions? Can’t change the direction of the house so repositioning isn’t really an option!
Unfortunately, this issue is has not been resolved. Aqara sent me two different G10 doorbells and they both were unable to stream video indirect sunlight. The doorbell works flawlessly in the shade and at night. I have updated the firmware to the latest firmware and it did not fix the problem. Very disappointing considering the Google nest doorbell. It replaced had no issues in direct sunlight.
