Hi,

I feel like the G410 hasn’t had any updates in a while with new features etc. is there anything in the roadmap?

What sort of features are you hoping for?

It’s a doorbell camera and functions pretty good at that task :slight_smile:

I received new firmware yesterday, so you can expect it soon. Hub was updated to support more devices, and bug camera was fixed.

It was said that there would be an update in April that would allow the call to be displayed (without a notification) and an image next to it when I press to ring, but this feature is still not available.

Has this been included in the latest update?

That screenshot matches mine. I am not aware of any recent firmware updates for the G410.
Or did I miss something?

Last version is 4.5.70. Firmware is deployed in few steps, so you will receive it soon.

I just updated both mine to 4.5.70 today so I’m sure yours will get that too very soon.

My plan for future iterations of the doorbell function is as follows:

  1. Support linking more Aqara devices. Currently, the Aqara door lock can be linked to doorbell to achieve quick door opening. Many friends hope that the T2 relay module can be added. We plan to directly link more sub devices to the doorbell’s app interface
  2. We plan to make the face recognition function of G400 a locally run feature, as many friends have reported that the current cloud based solution has too much delay. If we want to quickly open the door after detecting a specified face, the algorithm model must run locally on the doorbell. However, currently there are not many local resources left on G400 doorbells, so we may ask users to choose between human detection and facial recognition

What is coming? Anything exciting that’s worth me sticking to this model.
