G5 microphone issue

Hello! Please any news about g5 pro microphone sensitivity? Donie told me that you were working on it… in windy days there is a lot of loud… we need to adjust it… :pray:t2:

My request was not to add the possibility to adjust the microphone sensitivity but (as donie told me some months ago) to improve the firmware as far the camera doesn’t play abnormal sound in some circumstances (like windy days)… thanks

Again that is not what I asked… it s about microphone sensitivity but not to be manually set by user… but improving it via firmware update. That a what donie said to me months ago. Thanks

Nice to see you here!just ignore the bot’s response for now. I know you have been paying attention to the audio issues of G5 Pro. We have debugged several firmware versions with different mic sensitivities, but none of them were ideal, so we have not arranged to launch them. Based on current user feedback, most users have accepted its high sensitivity. We have recently recruited an acoustics PhD to join our R&D team, and I will discuss with him how to optimize the mic pickup effect of G5 Pro. Please give me some more time.
