G5 Pro and G410 first impressions

I just received those two products today and I just wanted to share my first impressions as feedback for the product designers.

G5 Pro. I have read before that it was a bit big but this thing is HUUUUGE. I come from the unifi world where cameras are small but powerful. The wife said at once that these are not going inside our home. Fine, I was planning on having them outside anyway. But sheesh, huuuuge. Feels very solid though.

G410. It’s a very fine product but there is much cheap plastic. The doorbell button is very clickety and does not feel solid. I very much liked the attached screw as those mini screws always run away. Nice to have a mini screwdriver included for those who don’t have one.

As always nice packaging and the installation of the g410 in both the app and on the wall was easy. I haven’t had time to play with the camera yet but I believe I will love it!

You mentioned the Unify, and I have received a lot of feedback recently that its product is great. I haven’t had the opportunity to experience their product yet. Can you describe in detail the advantages of Unify’s camera? The information I have learned from the Internet is that almost all of its security cameras are UVC (USB video class), similar to the camera installed on our PC, which cannot be connected to WiFi independently. It depends on a large security system to work. Do you know these features? Please tell me what you know.
