Im having issues with my G5 Pro PoE.
I have had the camera installed for a about 3 days and the Motion and Person detection has not been working optimal. I have tested some different scenarios before making this post.
The camera has been placed in my garage in one of the corners of the room, where it has full view of the garage. the garage is about 100m2.
During the night i get a ton of motion events, everytime a car passes by and the light from the car shines into the room for about 1-2 sec, i get a event.
I have also had a Person detection event during early morning where, a little cloth bag fell about 10cm down, the camera was about 5-6 meters from the bag.
I have tried to trigger Motion and person detection events my self but with inconsistent successes.
First i walked into the middle of the room in full view, after about 1 minute the camera detected me but only with motion detection. Then i walked out and waited for a minute. after i went back into the room with my big red guitar and headed straight for the camera while waving the guitar, the walk was about 10 meters from start to infront of the camera, i got no detections.
i put the guitar down and stood still to check the configurations, after a couple of minutes of standing still then i got a motion detection event.
So i can rarely detect myself on camera with Motion and/or person detection.
I have checked the settings, and everything is enabled. the detection sensitivity is on High so even the smallest thing should trigger. the detection time is set to 00:00 - 23:59 so all day.
The camera has a stable connection of both power and LAN.
And the lighting is clear during morning, day and evening. the picture is also clear during night due to good ambient light from outside.
