Im trying to add G5 via onvif to my NX witness vms server:
Ive got it working via rtsp and motion detection works.
Via Onvif i should be able hopefully to get the analytics working via VMS.
Ive tried http addy port 8000. User and pass as in settings for rtsp on app
Any ideas ?

It is correct to use the RTSP username and password for ONVIF.
Port 8000 is not open on my G5 Pro cameras.

I tried port 5000, still doesnt work
In a video, I saw that after clicking “Add Device”, you can enter the full RTSP URL. To be on the safe side, though, just copy the link from the Aqara Home app.

I have it working via rtsp, it works well but im trying to use ONVIF on NVR as well for testing analytics
In Surveillance Station (Synology DSM), I was able to connect my G5 cameras using ONVIF with the IP address and port 5000.
I read that NX Witness should automatically detect ONVIF-enabled cameras. Have you installed the latest firmware for the cameras? Alternatively, you could use a port scanner to check whether port 5000 is open.
Hi finally got somewhere, Added via onvif but cam is showing disconnected. Looks like even though port 5000 was setup NX is still looking for 80, bit weird, will raise issue with NXwitness. RTSP stream motion and audio are working so all good for now.
Next mission add to home assistant!
