I’m installing four new Aqara G5 Pro PoE cameras in my home.
The first two I have managed to successfully connect via PoE with no issues adding them to the Aqara or Apple Home apps.
However, the final two, even though I’ve connected them to the same Ethernet cables as the two working ones, will not get past the endless “connecting” cycle on the Aqara app despite showing up in the app. It’s also visibly connected on my Deco app.
Does anyone have any advice as to what may be the issue?
Other details:
I use a Deco Mesh system.
My Aqara app is up to date as on this date
I am using an iPhone 17, but have had the same issue on my older iPhone 13

To add to the troubleshooting, I have managed to add both remaining cameras to the Apple Home app directly but still not to the Aqara app. Annoyingly, this means I can’t flip the cameras and they are viewing upside-down.
Would love any help troubleshooting as above! I’ve also tried factory resetting the cameras…
To close the loop, I managed to get it working but definitely through an unorthodox way. I connected both the G5 Camera and my iPhone to my router directly (using a USB-C to Ethernet cable) and somehow managed to get the two devices to talk to each other that way. I have a feeling the issue was in my iPhone’s connection to the wifi network (despite it working for the other cameras without issue).
I don’t even know if this was truly what fixed it or if it was just a coincidence.
