Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to share my experience with adjusting the garage tilt sensor on my Qolsys 2 panel. I’ve been dealing with this issue where the sensor would accidentally trigger the alarm when I was working in the garage. It was pretty frustrating because I wanted the sensor to notify me but not set off the alarm every time I opened the garage door.
After some research and trial and error, I figured out how to adjust the settings so that the sensor still sends notifications without causing the alarm to go off. It involved tweaking the sensor’s sensitivity and setting up a specific automation rule in the Qolsys app. I also found that using the ‘Away’ mode instead of ‘Stay’ helped prevent false alarms during my projects.
