Gard activation conditions

Hello,

After an update of the application, i tried to modify the rules i put in place for activation/inactivation of the night guard alarm, but the application force me to erase the configuration and create a new one. The issue is that i am not able to reproduce the initial configuration. I setup the night Gard to activate/ inactivate at specific hours but I dont want the night Gard to be automaticaly activated if the Away Guard is activated.

I was able to add a condition on the hub status into th night Guard configuration but i cannot. Does anyone Knows how to do this?

Thanks

@enriquecorreia Hello! Thanks for reaching out about your Night Guard configuration issues. I understand how frustrating it can be when an app update resets your carefully planned automation settings.

Based on the Aqara Alert System design, there’s an important point to clarify: Home, Away, and Night modes are mutually exclusive, meaning only one mode can be armed at a time. So the Night Guard shouldn’t automatically activate when Away Guard is active - they work independently and cannot run simultaneously.

Here are a few suggestions to help you reconfigure:

  1. Try deleting and recreating the automation - Sometimes after updates, removing the existing automation and setting it up fresh can resolve configuration issues.

  2. Access the Alert System settings - Go to the Aqara Home app homepage > click edit dashboard > Home service > add alert system, then select the alert system message to access the configuration screen.

  3. Configure Night Alert separately - In the alert system page, click the setting icon, choose Night Alert to edit, and select your preferred Aqara devices as triggered devices.

If you’re still unable to add the hub status condition or reproduce your initial configuration, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team for more personalized assistance with your automation setup.
