I recently came across an interesting issue with my GE smart switches while using the SmartThings app. Some of my switches have the ‘Button Number’ option, allowing me to set actions for double taps up (Button One) or down (Button Two), while others don’t have this feature. I purchased the same model number at the same time, so it’s puzzling why some switches have this functionality and others don’t. I’m using the same Device Type Handler (DTH) for all of them, specifically the nuttytree DTH for GE/Jasco Smart Dimmer. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this inconsistency or has any insights into why this might be happening. It would be great to hear if others have encountered similar issues or found a workaround. I’m really enjoying the flexibility these switches offer, but this inconsistency is a bit frustrating.
