I recently installed the GE Z-Wave Plus Motion Switch in my hallway, and I must say, it’s been a fantastic upgrade to my smart home setup! The ability to have both a switch and motion sensor in one device is incredibly convenient. I’ve been using it to control my hallway lights, and it’s been working flawlessly. The motion sensor is highly sensitive yet doesn’t trigger false alarms, which is a big plus for me. I especially appreciate the parent/child structure, which keeps everything organized in my Hubitat setup. I’ve also explored the custom commands, which have allowed me to integrate the motion sensor into my daily routines seamlessly. For example, during the night, I’ve set it to a more sensitive mode so it lights up as soon as I step out of bed. Overall, this device has exceeded my expectations and has definitely earned a spot in my smart home arsenal. I’m excited to see what future updates bring!
