Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up my Google TV with Chromecast to stream audio to my Nest Audio speakers. I’ve heard it’s supposed to work seamlessly, but I’m running into some issues. Let me share my experience and see if anyone has a workaround or solution!
First, I have both Google TV with Chromecast and Amazon Firesticks Max. The Firesticks work perfectly with Amazon speakers, streaming movies and audio without any hiccups. But when I try the same setup with Google TV, it just doesn’t seem to connect. I’ve checked all the settings, made sure the Chromecast is recognized, and even tried resetting the devices, but nothing’s worked so far.
I’m really curious why the Google TV setup isn’t as reliable as the Amazon one. Both are using similar platforms, so I’d expect the functionality to be consistent. Maybe there’s a specific setting or feature I’m missing? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s successfully set this up or has tips to make it work!
Also, I’d be interested in knowing if others have faced similar issues and how they resolved them. Maybe there’s a firmware update or a specific app that can help bridge the gap. Any insights would be super helpful!
