Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some spooky smart lighting and automation tips? I’ve been experimenting with my Govee lights to create some eerie effects, and I thought I’d share my findings with the community. 
First off, I stumbled upon a fantastic Halloween light show preset in the Govee app, and it’s been a game-changer. The preset includes pulsating orange and red hues that perfectly mimic a haunted house vibe. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend checking it out!
For those of you who enjoy a bit more customization, I’ve been playing around with creating my own DIY light sequences. Using the Govee app, I’ve set up a routine where my lights gradually dim and then flash in sync with some spooky music. It’s surprisingly easy to set up, and the effect is absolutely chilling! 
Another fun project I’ve been working on is integrating my smart lights with my Amazon Echo. I’ve created a routine where saying, “Alexa, it’s Halloween!” triggers my lights to switch to a preset Halloween theme. It’s a small touch, but it adds so much to the festive atmosphere!
