Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success with transforming my TV setup using Govee’s DreamView Bars and Neon Rope Light. It’s been a game-changer for my living room, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! ![]()
I’ve always loved the idea of having a sleek, glowing backlight for my TV, but I wasn’t sure where to start. After some research, I came across Govee’s DreamView Bars and their Neon Rope Light, and I decided to give them a try. Here’s what I did:
-
Setup the RGBIC Strip: I placed the 6-foot strip around the back of my 32-inch TV, folding it gently to find the center. I positioned it near the middle of the top and bottom edges, creating a subtle square shape. Plugging it in was straightforward, and the vibrant colors immediately caught my eye!
-
Configuring the DreamView Bars: I mounted the bars above my TV on the shelves, but they could easily be placed below or anywhere within their cord range. Setting them up in the app was a breeze—selecting the devices and syncing them with the strip was intuitive. I played around with the color settings to match the strip’s glow, and the result was stunning!
-
Syncing with the Neon Rope: I also synced my 10-foot Neon Rope to the same wall as the bars. While I have a Glide on a different wall (not shown), the cohesive lighting effect ties the whole room together. It’s amazing how these devices work harmoniously to create a immersive atmosphere.
The best part? This setup works beautifully with my smaller TV, providing a vibrant backlight that enhances the viewing experience without overwhelming the space. Plus, being able to sync up to five devices gives me endless customization options!
I’m so thrilled with how this project turned out. It’s not just about the aesthetics—it’s about creating a welcoming, tech-savvy environment that I love coming home to. If you’re thinking of trying something similar, I highly recommend Govee’s products. They’re user-friendly, versatile, and the results speak for themselves! ![]()
