Hello everyone, I’m currently facing an issue with my Goodwe GW10K-BT inverter and the Goodwe Lynx Home F PLUS+ batteries in Home Assistant. The problem is that the inverter stops charging at around 94%, and the excess energy goes back to the grid instead of being stored in the batteries. This has been happening regularly, and I’m not sure why it’s occurring.
I have the -BT model because I already have Hoymiles inverters for PV generation, which are connected via OpenDTU and MQTT to HA. I also use evcc with MQTT for controlling a Vestel 04 wallbox. In Evcc, I have integrated my three Hoymiles inverters and the Goodwe inverter as well. Just recently, the Goodwe inverter stopped charging at 94%, and several kW went back to the grid. The diagnosis showed ‘goodwe self-use load light, bms: charge disabled, pf value set.’ I’m not entirely sure what this means, but it seems like the BMS is disabling the charging.
I’ve tried manually restarting the inverter by turning it off and on again, and that worked once, but I want to find a more permanent solution. I’m also concerned about the discharge mode. When there’s no PV generation, the inverter is set to ‘Discharge,’ but it doesn’t seem to be working properly. It either doesn’t discharge or does so inconsistently.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Goodwe inverters? Any advice on how to troubleshoot or resolve this would be greatly appreciated. I’m happy to provide more details or logs if needed. Thanks in advance for your help!
