Google Home Flows Only Work When Favorited - Any Solutions?

Hey everyone, I’m facing an interesting challenge with my Google Home setup and wanted to share my experience in case others have encountered the same issue or have a workaround.

So, I’ve been using Homey to integrate various smart devices into my daily routine. One of the features I love is creating flows that automate tasks around the house. I’ve set up several flows to control lights, adjust thermostats, and even trigger scenes for movie nights. Everything works smoothly when I manually activate them through the Homey app.

However, I recently discovered that when I try to start these flows using Google Home, they only become visible and executable if they’re added to my favorites list in Homey. This means I have to constantly manage and update my favorites, which is getting a bit cumbersome as the list grows longer.

I understand that Google Home has its own way of organizing and accessing routines, but this limitation feels a bit restrictive. It would be fantastic if there were a way to make all flows accessible without needing to keep them in favorites. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a different approach to organizing flows that could bypass this issue?

I’ve tried reaching out to the Homey community and even looked into some third-party solutions, but nothing seems to address this specific problem. If anyone has encountered this and found a workaround, I’d love to hear about it! Let’s brainstorm together and see if we can find a more seamless way to integrate Google Home with Homey flows.

Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions you might have. Let’s keep the conversation positive and collaborative!

Cheers,
