Google Home Voice Issue and Possible Solutions

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share a recent experience I had with my Google Home devices and see if anyone else has encountered something similar or might have some insights.

I’ve been using Google Home for quite some time now, and I’ve always appreciated how versatile it is. I speak both Spanish and English, and I’ve been giving commands to my Google Home devices in both languages without any issues—until about a month ago. That’s when I noticed something odd. When I gave a command in English, Google Home started replying in Spanish with a heavy English accent. At first, I thought it might be a temporary glitch, but it kept happening even after I tried reconfiguring the voice settings in English, both male and female. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this or knows why this might be happening.

I’ve tried troubleshooting by resetting the device and ensuring all software updates are installed, but the issue persists. It’s a bit confusing because it was working perfectly fine before. I’m wondering if there’s a setting I might have accidentally changed or if there’s a known issue with bilingual voice commands.

On a more positive note, I’ve been really impressed with how Google Home handles multiple languages. It’s such a helpful feature, especially for bilingual households like mine. I’m just hoping this recent hiccup is something that can be easily fixed with a software update or a simple setting adjustment.

If anyone has any tips or has faced a similar issue, I’d love to hear about your experiences. The community here is always so helpful, and I’m sure someone might have encountered this before. Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

Best regards,
