I’ve been using Govee for a while now, but recently I ran into an issue where Alexa wasn’t recognizing my Govee scenes. It was pretty frustrating because I rely on these scenes for different moods around the house, like my ‘Goodnight’ scene or ‘Movie Night’.
I tried everything—uninstalling and reinstalling the Alexa skill, resetting the devices, even contacting support. But nothing worked until I stumbled upon a solution in one of the forum posts. The trick was to ensure that the Govee app and Alexa skill were both updated to the latest versions and that the devices were properly paired through the Govee app first before linking them to Alexa.
Once I followed those steps, everything started working smoothly! Now, I can easily say, ‘Alexa, turn on Goodnight,’ and my bedroom lights dim to the perfect setting.
