Govee App Update Experience and Resolution

Hey Govee community! :wave: I wanted to share my recent experience with the Govee app update. Initially, I was really excited about the new features, but I quickly noticed something wasn’t quite right. My outdoor wall light, which I had set up for July 4th celebrations, lost its DIY automation option. :scream:

At first, I was a bit frustrated, but I decided to reach out to Govee support. After a quick back-and-forth, they got back to me and explained that it was a known issue. They assured me they were working on a fix, and I couldn’t be happier with their response! :raised_hands:

In the meantime, I performed a firmware update on my device, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve the issue. However, knowing that Govee was on the case made me feel confident that everything would be sorted out soon. :blush:

This situation made me think about how important it is for users to have a say in the features they love. I’m really looking forward to having that DIY option back, especially with Halloween and Christmas just around the corner! :jack_o_lantern::christmas_tree:
