Hey everyone! I recently added a GoveeLife Bluetooth Switch Controller to my setup, and I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is struggling with the configuration. My goal was to use the single-button switch to control my living room Govee bulb, turning it on and off with a single press. At first, I was really confused because the light would turn on and then immediately turn off when I pressed the button. It was frustrating, but after some trial and error, I figured it out!
Here’s what I learned: The key was to set up the actions properly in the app. I had to create separate actions for turning the light on and off. Initially, I thought I just needed one action, but it turns out the switch needs to know exactly what to do for each press. Once I set it up correctly, it worked like a charm!
I also wanted to mention that I tried using a 6-button switch in my media room, and the same principle applies. It’s all about how you define the actions in the app. I hope this helps someone who’s stuck like I was!
