Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Govee cameras I’ve been using at my mom’s place. The OG camera has been a lifesaver with its reliable performance, especially given the Hughes Dish internet connection which isn’t the most robust. It consistently connects fast and streams live in HD, which is fantastic for peace of mind.
However, I’ve been facing some challenges with the V3 camera at her house. Despite being set to SD, it struggles to maintain a stable connection and the live stream is often unresponsive. I’ve tried resetting it twice, but the issue persists. The camera shows a static image from a month ago when attempting to live stream, and it won’t even assign to my camplus subscription. This has been quite frustrating, especially since the OG camera right next to it works perfectly.
I’m considering upgrading to a new OG camera for better Wi-Fi performance, but I’m curious if others have experienced similar issues with the V3 model. Have you found any workarounds or settings adjustments that could improve the V3’s Wi-Fi stability? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences, especially if you’ve managed to optimize its performance in challenging network conditions.
