Govee Crystal Ball DIY for Halloween

It’s never too early to get into the Halloween spirit, despite it being 90 degrees on the east coast today . I love coming up with creative and unconventional ways to use Govee lights, and in this project, I created a crystal ball display using a Govee 4” recessed light and a small set of Govee string lights. The end product was outstanding, and it’s intermediate on the difficulty scale.

Here’s a quick rundown of how I did it:

  1. Materials Needed:

    • Govee 4” recessed light
    • Govee string lights
    • A clear glass or plastic ball
    • Some decorative items (spooky themed)
    • A small stand or base
  2. Setup:

    • Place the recessed light at the bottom of the clear ball to create a glowing effect.
    • Wrap the string lights around the stand or base for additional ambiance.
    • Add your decorative items inside the ball for that spooky touch.
  3. Tips:

    • Adjust the brightness of the recessed light to avoid overpowering the display.
    • Use the Govee app to set up a Halloween-themed color scheme or scene.
    • Experiment with different placements of the string lights to find the perfect glow.

The result was a beautiful, eerie crystal ball that really set the mood for Halloween. I can’t wait to see what everyone else comes up with this year! Any other Govee DIY projects you’re excited about? Let’s share and inspire each other! :jack_o_lantern::ghost:
