Govee Glide Light Setup and API Integration Experience

I recently decided to upgrade my home lighting setup, and after some research, I decided to go with the Govee 6 straight and 1 corner glide light. I must say, the installation process was surprisingly smooth, and the sleek design complements my living room perfectly. The RGBW functionality is a joy to use, especially during parties or movie nights. However, I’ve been trying to integrate these lights into my Home Assistant setup using the Govee API, and it’s been a bit of a challenge. I’ve enabled LAN control and obtained an API key, but when I try to query the devices, nothing shows up. I’ve tested this with Postman, and it still doesn’t return any devices. I’ve followed the troubleshooting steps—reinstalling the app, resetting the devices, and generating new API keys—but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. On a positive note, the Govee app itself is fantastic, and the customer support team has been very responsive so far. I’m hopeful that this API issue will be resolved soon. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the vibrant colors and smooth transitions of my new lights!
