Govee Glide Power Pack Solution & Tips

I recently purchased some Govee Glide strips to light up my kitchen cabinets, and I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is looking to do something similar.

I initially got two packs of the 1.8m Govee Glide strips, planning to use one under each of my kitchen cabinets. However, I quickly realized that one pack wouldn’t be enough for the width of my cabinets. After some research, I found that I could connect multiple packs together, but I was short on power packs.

I reached out to the community here, and someone suggested ordering an additional power pack separately. I did that, and it worked perfectly! I now have three packs connected, and the lighting under my cabinets looks amazing.

Here are a few tips I learned along the way:

  • Always check the total length of your installation to determine how many power packs you need.
  • If you’re unsure, it’s better to order an extra power pack than to risk not having enough.
  • Make sure to follow the instructions carefully when connecting the strips to avoid any issues.

I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I hope this helps someone else who’s looking to install Govee Glide strips in their home. Happy lighting! :star2:
